Campability Campout with Upstream Access and Adventures without Limits

A fun weekend tent camping outdoors!

We’ll be set up in a group campground at the Maple Day Use Area in Milo McIver State Park. Individuals and families are welcome to participate in group activities such as, a sunset paddle (Saturday),  stargazing, time around the campfire, or enjoy the park independently.

Upstream Access will also offer a few optional activities focused on emergency preparedness and resilience. Together, we’ll explore what camping might look like during or after a disaster, discuss items and strategies that can help make outdoor sheltering safer and more comfortable, and share ideas for adapting plans to meet individual needs. Participants will receive a few preparedness items to add to their emergency kits that can be useful for both camping and disaster situations.
