Rights in Practice: Advocating for Your ADA Rights in Disasters

Building on the legal grounding from Training 1, this workshop focuses on real-world advocacy skills for asserting disability rights before, during, and after emergencies.

Through guided discussion and breakout groups, participants will practice applying the ADA to scenarios such as shelters, evacuation, communication access, and recovery services—turning rights into action.
